But can you just kinda give an outline of, like, how your Crisis Care program began and, and why you did it?

Emily HollandGUEST
So a big part of our mission is, of course, to save lives, promote animal welfare.

Emily HollandGUEST
We have spay/neuter programs, so prevention is a big part of what we do, 'cause, you know, our municipal's not able to do any of those basic things, so we really pick up the pieces there.

Emily HollandGUEST
I mean, we feel like it's our responsibility, and when I came into the position, it was definitely I saw the gap in what our community services were, you know? It's very black and white in that, yeah, you can surrender an animal, but there's not a lot of other resources other than what we're doing as far as the municipal goes.

Emily HollandGUEST
You know, walk in, it's open intake, they take your pet, but there's not a lot of support outside of that, and that's just like you said, because of financial reasons.

But talk about what your community pack walks are, 'cause I just think they're brilliant.
