It's nice to be here.

I'm very excited for this podcast and really grateful that we get to kick it off by sharing Can't Ignore the Train, the four plus bonus episode part documentary that my late husband Aaron Perez and I created to really begin telling the story of how 10,000 Maniacs came to be and to just give you a little bit of background on why we created this audio documentary.

Aaron, can was a documentary filmmaker, a photojournalist by trade, and then which evolved into documentary filmmaking.

And he began working on a documentary with the 10,000 Maniacs as the Subjects during the pandemic, sort of early 2021.

I'm sure you've been, you know, you've been told stories and your, your dad has told you about this or that, or maybe you had some questions, but I was curious if there was something that, um, that, that you saw for the first time that you hadn't known, like a real big revelation that came to light when you were going through the process.
