How did you get your start in music, Elise?

I guess the story goes when I was about, well, backing up all the way, I was pretty musical from the time I was a baby.

My parents sort of like clocked that really early that I, you know, all babies respond to music to a certain degree.

But, you know, there was sort of something else there and I could sing in tune when I was a toddler and stuff.

And so I think they had an inkling that I would be musical.

Yeah.

And then I guess when I was about four years old, I was watching Sesame Street and somebody was playing the violin.

To start, I just want to start with, what does the phrase, the sound of resistance, what do you think of when you hear that phrase? What does that mean to you? Elise, I'll start with you.
