I'm gon- I'm not gonna get the same level of service." This sounds like more, though, actually.

Yeah, it's gonna be a lot more service.

We're going from 26 pickups a year to 52, which is amazing, and then those vacuum trucks only came around twice from November to March, so the leaf piles would just sit out for weeks and months at a time while they would rot and get wet, clog the storm drains.

So this is definitely, like, an increase in service for citizens.

Talk about that a little bit, too.

The piles of leaves that traditionally that were just on the streets would block sidewalks.

You know, Raleigh's been putting a lot of bike lanes in, so blo- blocking those bike lanes, um, streets, the leaves going down into the storm drains, having to get folks to come out to unclog storm drains.

So there was a lot of moving parts that, like, people didn't really know about in those, like, leaf pile situations, and so doing this is hopefully gonna alleviate all of that and keep the city nice and clean, um, and leaf free from, uh, impeding people moving around.
