It kind of all started maybe about a year ago.

My most recent injury, that is, sorry, I've had obviously lots of operations in the past.

I've had three operations, kind of dual ACL and then multiple cartilage repairs within those.

And then started to get a bit of like a knee pain Christmas time last year when I was in camps with England.

And I just kind of mentioned it.

We didn't really think much of it because I think throughout my career, I've always had kind of the odd pain management around my knee, just obviously with pain.

or the past trauma that it's been through and it just didn't seem to go and we were kind of questioning what should we do moving forward and obviously went for a scan February time and it came back and we initially thought it was kind of meniscal tears but because of all the operations that I've had previously there wasn't really loads to kind of take away as such so we tried to combat it with a injection and it didn't really do much to be honest I tried to play on it and I think I was maybe caught between a bit of a rock and a hard place because I think on one hand I really, really wanted to play and I didn't want to end up having another operation.
