My name is Elijah Haynes, and, uh, I'm up here in A- Anchorage, Alaska, uh, working at the Alaska Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired, and I am a certified orientation and mobility specialist, um, and a certified low vision, uh, therapist as well.

You know, a big misconception is that a cane is only for people who have no light perception, right? Or are, are totally blind, people might say, and not realizing that most cane users have some vision left and a wide variety of vision.
