I mean, how are you going to approach it? Is this, I'm going to go buy a bunch of stuff and throw it in there? What's your take?

So, you know, as much as I love toys and bunch of new stuff, and I would love to kind of start throwing things, just from the first look, because...

When you look at things, you're going to see it.

You're going to say, oh, I can definitely use a better EDR in this spot, or I can definitely use a better MFA in this place, or a better SIM, or a better SOC, or whatever, right? But is it the right approach to kind of go in and change all of it? I don't think so.

Reason being, the business has selected it for a reason prior to me being onboarded.

So understanding what's the reason behind it, how did this come up to life, why it was implemented, and more specifically, why was this selected? Was it cost driven? Was it talent driven? The talent that were in place to implement.

This is the only technology that they were used to, right? So there are multiple factors that kind of put the business in this position of selecting a product where it's a technology product to integrate it into their processes.

So what would be the path for someone that wants to get into the cybersecurity and your advice?
