So what are some of those things? I mean, you said if it's, like, really getting in the way of them being able to function in life, but what might that look like for somebody?
7:58
Yeah, so there's a few ways that I can answer that, but in, at the most basic level, sometimes I say this to the people that I work with.
8:05
I'm like, a lot of people, if they don't have disordered eating or an eating disorder, you could say, "Hey, I want you to go eat this amount of food.
8:15
Go for it," right? And you...

Like, let's say it's more than what they're currently eating, and they're gonna be like, "Great.
8:19
You're telling me to eat more? Done," right? Or you could say, like, "I want you to loosen the reins a little bit.
8:26
You don't have to only eat protein and vegetables.

I think somet- personally, I think sometimes people get binge eating disorder confused with, "I overate and I overeat more than a typical person." I am not a dietician, so maybe I have that wrong in my head, so will you mind defining the difference and maybe even similarity between actual binge eating disorder and being a chronic overeater?
