So to begin, can you give us an insight into your background and where you grew up?

Yes, absolutely.

Um, I, I'm definitely kind of all over Queensland.

That's where I grew up.

So my main space that I've lived most of my life was in a small town called Kingaroy.

It's about three hours from Brisbane.

Um, growing up there, there were just a lot of limitations in terms of creativity, and I found myself really connecting to an online space, and joining different groups, whether it was Tumblr or Wattpad, or all of that sort of fun, engaging community, and that's where I really, really got my love for writing because it's a, it was a way to connect with other people online.
