And so before going into exploring in more detail all of these shortcomings that now come with us wanting to investigate psychedelics, do you think any of our current colleagues, methods are salvageable? Is there hope? Or do we need to kind of scrape everything and start building afresh?

So I sort of want to agree with you in that the phenomenology, that's something I'm interested in, in these experiences is relevant probably to treatment success.

At least that's part of the mechanism of action people have proposed.

But I also want to push back a little because this is also the case for exposure therapy, for example, or cognitive behavioral therapy or other psychotherapies where The subject of behavior or feeling or the phenomenology of a current state might impact on treatment success.

That's why we call the paper history repeating because the problems are not new in a way.

And the solutions are sadly also not new.

And I'd like this field to go a little further.
