Ed, when you, when you're brought in, uh, in whatever capacity, let's say as an expert witness, what are the first questions that you ask?
31:18
So I think particularly recently, um, there have been new theories advanced by the Qui Tam Bar.
31:26
Uh, I'm involved in two cases now, um, that are fairly novel theories.
31:31
So the first thing I do a- as an expert, you know, when we do our due diligence, uh, to be able to take the case.
31:37
So I'll typically do a case assessment upfront, and it involves if it's, if it's a pharma pricing case, we'll run our own analytics with counsel, and we'll look at exposure analysis, we'll look at trending analysis, we'll look at along the decision tree.
31:53
When it's something sort of less, um, obvious than a pricing decision but still related to price, because in pharma most things ultimately are related to price, you know, I'll have to examine a theory.
32:06
So for example, one of the new theories that's being advanced, and there's actually a split in the circuits, is there is a case, um, and it's public knowledge, Silvershire versus Janssen versus a number of other defendants.
37:07
I'm a compli- Y-you see the compliance officers in, in, in the cases that, that you're involved in, and what advice do you have compli- for compliance officers to stay out of trouble with some of these cases, the Qui tam cases, uh, and the, uh, the Qui tam cases?
