Yeah.
12:02
And it is our dilemma.
12:03
Every day we all participate in the burning of fossil fuels.
12:06
You know, somewhere in this building as we're speaking, whether the air conditioner or something, there is something being burnt to have us be here in this climate-controlled room some.
12:15
So it, it, it's the, we're, we're all implicated all the time.
12:18
And so there i- there is a problem I see where big oil can, you know, stop things from happening, like alternative energy, because it's not in their interest for that to do well.
12:29
And that, that's bothersome because, uh, having a small group with a lot of power preventing the right thing to happen is very problematic.

What are the stories that people tell you when they see your work? Things that you don't expect them to kind of like imagine?
24:36
Well, it's interesting because I hear all kinds of things and what I've learned over time, because I've been doing this for a long time, that like music and other things that the visual arts It's from one mind, the mind of the artist, to the viewer's mind.
24:56
And music's like that.
24:57
It's from the mind of the composer and the musician to your mind.
25:01
And your mind completes the experience, right? One's visual and the other one's based in time, like music.
25:10
But there's a similarity in terms of the meaning and the completion of the piece happens there.
25:19
And that's somewhat different, right? from like a documentary film where you're following a narrative and somebody's telling you the story and there's music and there's time space that you're moving through.
