Of course.
8:41
My name is Edith Miller.
8:43
I'm a chief physicist by background, so hence my connection to the SCG.
8:48
I've been an SCG member for quite a long time, I think 2001.
8:53
And from fairly early on of being a member at the SCG, I've gotten involved with reviewing papers and sitting on committees and being active in the conference.
9:03
And I always loved coming to SCG meetings.

What are some of the things either low lift or, not so much work all the way to like, how do you build up to becoming a co-chair of an 8,000 person conference? What are those volunteer opportunities?
12:54
Yeah, speaking of making those connections across companies and across niches, what conversation do you hope happens at Image26 that would be hard to create if you were staying within your technical bubble or your even country regional bubble?
13:09
And I think I'm quoting the preview guide here, but it said somewhere, image creates an environment where scientific insight meets business and strategic decision-making.
13:22
So bringing together investors, policymakers, business, and scientists leads to a very... inspiring and creative environments.
13:36
And we do need to think about policymakers.
13:41
We have the International Pavilion, also known as Global Energy Opportunities Hub.
13:47
We need to talk to those folks, right? What do the different countries worldwide need in their energy landscape? How can the businesses, investors, and the individual scientists help with that evolution of the energy landscape.
14:04
And then I always think the conversation I hope happens is the conversation that you didn't know what's going to happen, right? You come there with certain purposes.

That is a good distinction.
