1:31
my man cave in the middle of nowhere and the wind is blowing and the rain is lashing so it's classic Ireland but here we get straight into it and we'll do a kind of tight one you wrote your last book it was fantastic on the totalitarianism that we're facing so obvious choice why you'd write in that because it's so crucial but your latest book you've written on critical thinking so why is that so crucial to you because it'll
1:57
come as no surprise to you or anybody or Ilk that the people that can now see through, like looking through a pane of glass on what's going on, you know, even though the White House is admitting to it openly, I don't know if you've spotted that recently, about the global deep state and all of the stuff that was, you know, theories is now in front of everybody if they want to look at it.
2:19
But one of the things that absolutely puzzled me, Ivor, was that almost inversely related to people's intellect was their capacity to see anything in front of them.
2:32
And also, it was also clear that...
2:36
Because I was talking to a friend of mine one time and he put his hands up over his ears while he was talking to me.
2:41
He said, I don't want to hear...
2:43
Don't say anything.

22 MINS LATER

24:48
Now, luckily, that one failed.
2:34
So let's start with... what took you to being a dissenting voice you know you build your public figure fighting for irish consumers against rip of culture at what point did you cross from the financial advisor part or from being more in the establishment to kind of speaking out and questioning some of the systems that we're living in
2:56
Well, I think the transition moment was what happened to all of us during the COVID psych op, which is what it was.
3:03
I've done an awful miles of research into it, books, videos, you name it, wrote about it, studied it, cross-checked the information.
3:10
And it's quite clear to me that on the 28th of February 2020, the security state in America, Britain, Holland, Germany, Australia just took over.
3:20
They were always in charge anyway.
3:21
And that's why it felt like a military exercise, because the rate at which people were being deplatformed, dissent was being closed down, people were losing their medical licenses, and that's still going on in Ireland.
3:36
It was all done with extraordinary precision and the actual, you know, the technology platforms themselves were under pressure from the same power.

15 MINS LATER

18:29
Is this based on the Magna Carta?
36:09
Eddie, can you get us up currently what's happening in Ireland? It looks like the beginning of an open revolt, sir.
36:17
Yeah, well, the action overnight was quite significant.
36:20
I mentioned to you on the programme the last time we spoke that I thought there was an error in actually blocking the refinery.
36:26
So they sent in the heavy units, which is the public order unit.
36:33
These are kind of black uniformed masks, you know, full kit masks.
36:38
people trained for heavy duty riots, you know, but they were facing farmers and truckers that were completely peaceful.
36:47
So they cleared the place down in front of the refinery.
40:02
So where do people go, Eddie?
22:00
What's going on in Ireland?
22:02
Well, what's happened is, is, is remarkable.
22:04
This is the, uh, this is the site of the, the GPO there.
22:07
You have it on your tape.
22:09
That's the site of the n- 1916 rising, and 110 years later, almost to the day, uh, in a v- in a, in a, in a, in a move that's completely caught the government by surprise, like a blind man, you know, going to the Dail's realizing there's a plunger in it, uh, have, have literally cl-closed the country.
22:24
They've, they've turned up, uh, farmers and hauliers and, um, b-bus drivers, uh, in a convoy throughout the country, uh, blocking motorways.
22:34
And, uh, and here they are in O'Connell Street in Dublin, um, having to, having conquered it, basically.
24:25
ruleDon't they understand the symbolic-- I mean, are they that out of touch because they're controlled totally by Brussels and Davos? Are they that stupid that given the, uh, the, the powerful symbolic value of the 1916 Easter, uh, rebellion, that they would actually bring out what the British did that eventually led to the independence of the Irish nation? Would they actually be dumb enough to bring the army out when-- on, on truckers and farmers, sir?
25:24
uh our native country uh where we came you know our relatives and forefathers came from uh on the diaspora of the irish people centuries ago uh it just shocks me of how the elites and more than anything the world economic forum brussels control the country against the irish people but people are fighting back eddie we're in place of b-roll what has happened it seems like things have exploded over the last couple days or weeks what's going on in ireland
25:52
Well, what's happened is remarkable.
25:54
This is the site of the GPO there.
25:57
You have it on your tape.
25:58
That's the site of the 1916 rising.
26:00
And 110 years later, almost to the day, in a move that's completely caught the government by surprise, like a blind man going to the dial as we're all realizing there's a plunger in it.
26:11
have literally closed the country.
28:24
Are they that... stupid that given the powerful symbolic value of the 1916 Easter rebellion, that they would actually bring out what the British did that eventually led to the independence of the Irish nation? Would they actually be dumb enough to bring the army out on truckers and farmers, sir?
39:02
Tell me the strides you're making, 'cause Ireland's got to be free of the EU, sir.
39:08
Well, well, Steve, um, um, you, you've had a big impact on the, on the, uh, conference over the weekend because, uh, the, you know, the, the media seems to be very focused on the possibility that, uh, that, that Steve Bannon is coming to Ireland, and MAGA is coming to Ireland, and, uh, it's, it's almost as if we should be chalking the lentils over our doors, uh, that the angel of death is about to descend on the country.
39:31
I mean, that's the problem.
39:33
The, the, the media in Ireland, and there's very little between the, the, the radio stations and the newspapers, are all on, all on the same hymn sheet, and that hymn sheet does not include looking seriously at the, the, the, the structural problems we've got.
39:47
And as a consequence of that, we've set up Counterpoint.
39:51
Uh, it had a big impact just a couple of months ago when, when it helped drive the, uh, huge spoil vote outcome in the presidential election, where about one in seven voters came out and actually s- wrote on the ballot paper their, their annoyance with the government and spoiled their vote in unprecedented numbers, and that really sh- shook the establishment here.
40:11
So over the weekend, we organized a thing called the IRL Forum.
42:11
I know you're building a media platform, but are people there that brainwashed? Can't they just see? Can't they just see what they see in the lived experience o- of their daily lives?
46:16
Tell me the strides you're making because Ireland's got to be free of the EU, sir.
46:22
Well, Steve, you've had a big impact on the conference over the weekend because the media seems to be very focused on the possibility that Steve Bannon is coming to Ireland and MAG is coming to Ireland.
46:37
And it's almost as if we should be chalking the lentils over our doors.
46:43
that the angel of death is about to descend on the country.
46:45
I mean, that's the problem.
46:47
The media in Ireland, and there's very little between the radio stations and the newspapers, are all on the same hymn sheet.
46:54
And that hymn sheet does not include looking seriously at the structural problems we've got And as a consequence of that, we've set up CounterPoint.
49:22
Why is there not more of an outcry? I know you're building a media platform, but are people there that brainwashed? Can't they just see what they see in the lived experience of their daily lives?
31:04
Is- are the Irish people finally awakening to it?" Eddie Hobbs, the floor is yours, sir.
31:10
Yes, but we are, uh, we, we have a bigger problem in the sense that, uh, the, uh- to, to try and wake up the mass in the middle, we need to be able to break the, uh, the wall, uh, the wall that has buil- been built around them by the state and by the power of the state broadcaster, and by the largess that the state puts into mainstream media, which means that we have no fourth estate.
31:53
And that's what Counterpoint is doing, Steve, and that's why we're reaching out to Irish America as well, to let them know what's going on, and to look for support as well, obviously.
32:03
Um, so, uh- so that's, that's the task in front of us.
32:07
But you're right.
32:08
We have, uh- we're, we're trying to get people to understand the interconnections.
32:08
We have a huge problem in the housing market.

6 MINS LATER

37:49
It, when we look at these rallies that are taking place throughout Ireland and these demonstrations taking place in the streets in Ireland, is that the first indication that you're gonna have, you have the potential for a mass awakening here, sir?
34:11
Do you see these rallies that we've been trying to cover and last weekend in Dublin? But how is it that you have a political class that has essentially sold the nation out to Davos, to Brussels, to the European Union and, uh, has really just kicked, k- kicked off to the side the great legacy of Irish nationalism, sir?
34:31
Well, I mean, um, to, to understand that you have to understand that the, uh, the, the mainstream media in Ireland, Steve, and, and thank you very much for having me on, uh, is the North Korea of Europe.
34:43
Uh, the, the big dominant behemoth is the state broadcaster, RTE.
34:47
It just recently got a bailout from the state itself of three-quarters of a billion.
34:53
You can multiply that by a factor of 60 to bring it to US numbers, so that's about 50 billion.
34:58
And, uh, and, you know, you have a small independent radio station next to it which is called Newstalk, and the- the- the- that and especially the, uh, the, the, the print newspapers, there's a small number of them, they're all in recei- receipt of state largesse.
35:13
And as a consequence of that in quarter one 2020 when COVID hit, uh, they, they just disappeared.

10 MINS LATER

45:43
Uh, where do people go in the interim, Eddie, where do people go to your website, podcast, uh, social media, all of it, before we get you back here on Monday?
