And how did that then lead on to you getting involved with the BDA and obviously eventually becoming chairman?

Well, yeah, I moved that practice around the end of the 90s, 1999, 2000.

A GP's practice had become available not far away from where I had the practice.

And that gave me an opportunity to expand.

It was quite a small practice that I had.

And And moving there was quite an eye-opener for me.

It was a GP's practice.

Is that your lived experience of that time as well? I think it's good for younger dentists to understand actually where's this contract come from?
