If we can genuinely slow the progression by 75%, which is what we've seen in the trial, basically, everything gets multiplied by four.

Let's say you have a person in front of you who would be in a wheelchair in two years due to Huntington's disease, multiply that by four.

I think you get eight, so you've gained six extra years.

I might be wrong about this, but I, if I am, no one's been able to tell me how.

But because we know the genetic cause of HD, and we can test people well in advance of the symptoms arising, in theory, we haven't tested this yet, but in theory, the same treatment could be used to prevent the onset of the disease.

So if someone's 20, and they had 20 more years of disease-free life, that becomes 80 years, at least in theory, so they'd be 100 instead of 40 by the time they got the symptoms.

So, uh, what brought you to researching Huntington's in particular?
