So, you know, I totally feel that it's kind of like a wound.

You know, depending on how big that wound is and losing a child or a parent is huge.

I mean, they're such a big, important part of your life.

And when they're missing, it's like you've been wounded and this wound just stays there and kind of bleeds and bleeds and bleeds.

And how do you close that wound up? How do you bring a closing to it? I watched several parents in my group that still didn't have the answers that they wanted.

And our effort was to try to protect children and to put forward legislation that would protect and and help change the dynamic that's currently happening.

Is it still raw in some way? There's got to be scars there, right? I mean,

W- w- what is it like for a family trying to navigate, particularly these first days in something like this, with law enforcement and all the unknowns?

You know, I, I think the first issue, of course, is to clear the family.

Uh, you know, a lot of interests came my way, came my brother's, Tom's, way.

And as long as they're looking at the family, they, they can't focus on what's needed to.

But, you know, it's so surreal that, uh, you know, something like this could happen to you.

You're, you're really in a, in a state of trauma.

And, um, you know, I, I hope that Savannah and her family are taking care of themselves, getting the rest they need to be able to survive through this.

Um, how much did you lean on law enforcement during that time to try to figure your way through this?
