Can you tell us what that means in real terms?

Yeah, okay.

So the sort of the first half of the report was an attempt to try and get our heads around how far into the process of privatisation we are in the health sector.

So what we did was look at both Health New Zealand and ACC, which are the two main sources of public funding into health, and looked at their financial statements and tried to identify how much money was going into the private sector.

This was made a whole lot easier by the fact that we now have consolidated financial reporting for Health New Zealand Te Whatu Ora.

So we were able to pull those numbers out with relative ease rather than having to look at the financial statements for 20 different DHBs.

So that's one thing that made this process easier.
