So Ed, in your mind, would the constraints of potentially having a single uniform service, which of course we're going to dig into a little bit more today, how would those potentially complicate response options to attacks in cyberspace? Or conversely, would you say that those would free up more options, including when it comes to offensive cyber operations?

Ed CardonGUEST
That's pretty traditional, and all the operations, you know, the department has its authorities, and then, you know, we have Department of Homeland Security that has their authorities.

Ed CardonGUEST
We have the Federal Bureau of Investigation has their authorities, and then of course, all of our commercial industries have their responsibility for cyber, and that's the way it's constructed right now.

Ed CardonGUEST
But what a service does, it allows a singular focus on the development of a cyber force.

So what would you say, kind of summarizing the, the commission's discussions, General Cardon, were the biggest pros and cons of, of each of those kind of institutional alignment options? And if I can add on, how do you think the current administration, that's the executive branch kind of broadly, as well as Capitol Hill decision-makers, uh, should be thinking about this based on what they read?
