88:31
I was wanting to talk about this Tennessee Stud dog a little bit.
88:36
He's, uh, seven years old.
88:39
Uh, a guy, a gentleman by the name of Wendell Jones called me, uh, on the phone and he said, "Ed, I've got a dog down here that, uh, that you need." And I said, "Well, uh, what's she out of?" And he said, "No, it's not a she, it's a he." I said, "I don't want no male dog.
89:01
You couldn't give me a m- male dog." And he w- he went to talking.
89:08
He was like 18 months old or something, and he said, uh, you know, "He's not broke." And he said, "I live right down here in the foothills of the Smokies." And he said, "There's no coon down here hardly at all." And he said, "I carried him to, uh, uh, three PKC hunts over at Camden 'cause they've got coons over there." And he said, uh, you know, "I won two out of three with him." I said, "Uh, if he don't know nothing, h- h- how'd you win them contests with him, Wendell?" He said, "Oh, he trees coons."

7 MINS LATER

97:03
Mm-hmm.
97:04
But, uh, he's a nice dog.
97:07
Jerry never hunted him with anything.
37:09
Yeah.
37:10
And they were both carrying a good hound.
37:14
And I came back in and I went over to Scratch.
37:18
And I said, well, who wanted Scratch, you or Joe? He said, neither one of us.
37:26
I said, what do you mean? He said there was a little old warped up, picked up dog, looked like it was about starved to death.
37:35
He said he busted our skulls, man.
37:39
He said we was out there and them cornfields were beating and banging and he was popping them up around the edges just as fast as you could go to him.
