Oh, why and when? Well, I, um, when I was a teenager I was curious about what life was all about, and so I started reading books on different religions and yoga and meditation and tried to meditate in my room when I was a teenag- teenager and, and had a few mystical experiences that sort of convinced me there was more to life than, uh, this material world.

So, uh, and the Hindu books I read explained all that better than any other, um, major faith.

So, uh, when I was at a Hatha yoga class at university one day, uh, my guru walked in and gave a talk, and I just knew he was my guru and, uh, eventually, uh, served as a sadhaka in his monastery for a couple of years.

And then, um, he, uh, initiated Sundari and I at the Chidambaram Temple in South India.

Um, a question that I often wonder about is, in all of these years as a Hindu, whether you, um, you know, adopted the Hindu dharmas or were born into it, um, especially for those who adopted the Hindu dharmas, coming from different backgrounds, how, what would you describe it as the biggest change within you or in your worldview? Um, Eason, do you wanna start?
