So I mean, the kid who was arrested in, in Norway, who kind of, uh, so, and, and the information they got from his phone, he was known as Generalen or General.

Um, and he, he was the guy who was, I suppose, next up on the food chain, but there was a guy above him, and he was called Agent 47, turned out to be a 22-year-old called Ali Ahmed.

And then his boss in, uh, who was the, the guy ahead of him, is a guy called, uh, Revand Maji, and he's now, he's the supposedly the leader of this network called Fu- Foxtrot Network.

But in this case, there isn't.

Yeah, and, and the name we have for, for the, for the man who's now in, who is still in custody in Cyprus, so he was arrested on the 28th, and on Monday this week, he was back in court.

Um, and he's been remanded to the 18th of November back to, uh, um, you know, the district court there, uh, Famagusta District Court.

You know, in, in the affidavit evidence there was great kind of information about how they worked, you know, importing the stuff, and they were selling, uh, selling on kind of engines for Ford Transit, this type of stuff.

Were making quite a lot of money, and he was also suspected, according to the evidence, of being involved in kind of drug sales in the area as well.

And he would've been as pa- part, he would've been a leading member of this, uh, crime gang, along with his uncle, uh, Edward Son Stokes.

So they're both Edward, one a son, and the other is, is Blondie.

Um, and they had a bit of a, they had a falling out at some stage, um, I think shortly after the raids that were carried out in 2018.

He thrashed his cell, and I think he was found with a phone.

Yeah.

I mean, look, he, he's a violent criminal, the, the main suspect, um, s- you know, with, um, a long record and, you know, involved, involved in violent robberies, uh, and not somebody who's been doing his, uh, his time quietly.

Yeah, he was found with, um, a, a, according to reports, he was found with a, a phone, which obviously you're not allowed to have, it's contraband in the prison, uh, concealed in his body.

Um, uh, and again, you know, had, had to be, we're, we're led to believe had to be restrained by staff and broke up his cell when he was returned to Wheatfield Prison, where he is now.

So he, he, this guy is, is, uh, he's serving time for serious offenses, and a- after his arrest by guards, he was held for about 24 hours, and then he was re- he was, he was returned to prison.

So the, the file, as you said, has gone to the DPP.

You're stuck in there and it's locked and you're waiting and waiting to try and hear the rattle of the key in the door.

Mm-hmm.

Um, uh, not ex- entirely sure as what.

Um, but, you know, and, and was kind of quiet enough about it, I think.

You know, he, he managed to stay out of the headlines for a while.

And so then, like, he, he was back in Ireland then, um, and he set up, obviously his experience of l- looking how things were done in Dubai, he set up a, a couple of companies, uh, basically called Evergreen Wealth Management and, a- AMW Property Holdings, which are two separate companies.

Um, and again, attracted, uh, customers that were going to, um, invest in the company, and they had promised various, uh, you know, methods of how they were gonna make money, uh, you know, through different kind of online investment products and so on.

Um, some of the money did go into an investment.

Yeah.

And really, that's that's what's created the fear around them.

Yeah.

And this came up again just in recent weeks.

There was a man called Gerard McCormick.

He's a 39 year old and he got 10 years for false imprisonment on behalf of a gang, which is a, I suppose, a particular charge.

Yeah.

Jamie Geoghegan previously, I think it was back in 2024, he got six years for assault and false imprisonment from the same incident.

And it's almost immediately a case of kill or be killed on the 8th of November in 2019.

Again, back at that halting site where Owen Maguire has been shot.

There is a mobile home previously occupied by a former partner of his and their children, and it's been completely destroyed by fire.

Maguire is still in hospital recovering from his injuries and the mobile home while it was vacant at the time.

It's another message to him, isn't it? And that is in this affidavit delivered to the High Court by the Criminal Assets Bureau.
