What's your reaction to his comments, Eamonn?
12:36
Do you know what? I think it's actually called idiotic at the time.
12:44
And I think it's been harsh.
12:48
I think it's kind of hypocritical to be putting a pail on to someone and then talking about mental health and the benefits of it.
12:56
But in terms of there was no logic to it, it was an idiotic statement.
13:02
rather than you know going after the individualness let's play the play the ball rather than the man now but you know in today's the benefits of it they the proven benefits of it and what people have got got out of it and the way people are actually talking about their feelings and talking about you know embracing that whole mental health side of it is uh James McLean is thankfully in the minority.
14:37
attitude from you
14:38
know maybe a generation or two before where it would have been perceived as a weakness and you know it would have been thrown out you just get on with things and there's There's nearly a resentment towards that mentality from a generation or two ago.

[upbeat music] Hello, and welcome to this week's Monday Club.
0:09
This week I'm joined by Cahair O'Kane, and we have Donegal's Eamon McGee has made the long trek from Lower County this morning.
0:15
Looking bushy-tailed and bright-eyed, Eamonn, fair play.
0:18
Ah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
0:20
[laughs] Good to, good to be here.
0:20
Good to be up chatting to youse lads.

37 MINS LATER

37:19
Like, do you th- you're in the conversation for the best cornerback that Donegal ever had.
37:24
No, I wouldn't.
7:39
What does that bring to the overall competition? What can drivers look forward to?
7:44
Well, it's a level playing field because these top drivers, I know you have drivers there that had advantage, maybe like doing the stages, Manal Heads and that last year.
7:58
But now it's a whole new...
8:03
You just take Callum Devine, probably never rallied these roads.
8:08
I think Josh might have been in his younger days, but very little of them top men have done this, and it's a whole new thing.
8:17
And it's a good experience, and I'm glad that being from the Gilt, I think it's over myself that we were able to bring that.
8:26
It had been down there in the 70s, But it just dropped through.
12:00
Yeah.

and then again the afternoon time you've got Garton and Trenta like they're very very intriguing stages so they are Greg and there's going to be lots of people about and the way the stages and Eamon will probably talk a bit more on this the way the stages have been laid out is to make sure that there's a lot more smoother running of the rally and you can see that in the morning by splitting Knock Alla in two because you're coming off Knock Alla and then you're going into Drum Halla straight away and there's not much time difference between the starts of the two stages like a half an hour or something so
