Why highlight them? And do you see your work as being baked into American history or responding to this sort of American patriotism? Why present yourself through this historical lens?

I included those things for two reasons.
10:29
First reason is like I felt literally there were lots of connections between those kind of three things and the work that I make.
10:37
I've been really interested in 9-11 as a like historical and kind of as a symbolic event.

Um, to me, it's the most interesting thing about the twin towers is that like all of their significance comes from them being destroyed them from them, not existing.
10:52
That's this large industrial architectural, like, like Titan that, um, has been given the most amount of like cultural relevance through a horrific tragedy.
11:04
Um, and that kind of like persistence of something and almost like aestheticization of something, uh, uh, that was created for a specific purpose and then has had sort of history beat onto it.
14:21
I'm curious, how would you describe your practice and its balance of the imagery and symbolism of today and these really historic mediums?
