I think maybe as we start this conversation, you could just give us a little bit of background on how you got into the space, your history, and really what makes commodity investing so interesting for you.

Dwight AndersonGUEST
My background ever since I left university has always been in basic industries.

Dwight AndersonGUEST
I had a range of very disparate alternatives coming out of college and the attraction to go into manufacturing and consulting and be able to do something tangible and maybe something beneficial to keep jobs and productivity here.

Dwight AndersonGUEST
And so went out and did consulting with dairies and trailer companies and New England shrimp, which still holds the record for most federal convictions, I think, and ended up taking a job with a client and actually being a plant manager for a printing company in upstate New York.

How do you invest for this, given the fact that it is so uncertain and macro and headlines is driving so much of the action on a day-to-day basis?

Dwight AndersonGUEST
Well, some of these effects are already starting to occur to have a long-dated effect in that, you know, the event occurred at a time was actually good for where fertilizer had been sent out to upcountry for the northern hemisphere planting.

Dwight AndersonGUEST
And so you're sort of locking in forward food inflation going forward so that, you know, you have lower yield, the different plan of decisions, and even some crops not planted because it's not economic with diesel prices and fertilizer prices here.

Dwight AndersonGUEST
And so come next winter, you have the aspect of that's when we have the higher food prices kicking in.

Dwight AndersonGUEST
So that is each week that goes by, basically, we're raising our price for corn by about 1% because we're taking the yield down by a bushel.

So I just want to get your thoughts on how this stacks up, the U.S. versus the rest of the world, when we do talk about all of these different commodities.
