So it's kind of like this stuff, not only is certification, but it's almost like a study guide for you to understand what you need to learn in order to do a job, right? So I feel like

One of the things that we've done, especially post-acquisition now, is that it used to be like we would release a new product and then a year later you would see the certification show up.

And now when we release new releases, we are updating our certs within about 30 days.

I mean, SLA is 90, but I mean, last year we dumped a whole bunch of new content for the, for VCF nine within seven days, we had the search sound.

So we're running that a lot, a lot tighter than we used to.

Um, and you know, if you're a VCF customer, um, you have access to an entire library of training, whether you want to do on demand, whether you want to do something instructor led.

or whether you want to do a custom class, we can do all that.

so what is that

What is the VCAP and what's changed?

Yeah.

So the VCAPs are the VMware Certified Advanced Professional exams.

So if you were here last year, we only had the VCPs out, which are the Certified Professionals.

So this year we've increased our exam portfolio 61% with five domain-based VCAPs, which are very technology-focused around storage, ops, auto, networking, et cetera.

And we also have the role-based VCAPs, which are much more platform-wide admin, architect, and support.

[laughs] So I, I've definitely got some questions, but, uh, maybe you can just start by telling me, like, what are some of the key changes between what it was and what it is?

Well, we've really evolved VCDX from where it was to where it is now, and really, we're gonna, we're gonna do our first actual defense in four years this week at Explore.
