And FDNY was by far the number one in the country that started this.

And if I fast forward then, unfortunately, I'm going to miss some stuff, but then 9-11 happened.

And 9-11 was a game changer.

So we figured, my predecessors, we got to up the ante.

We can't just send these peers in there, although the peer program was great.

And mind you, prior to that, Counseling unit was there, minor stuff like you said, some marital issues, stuff like that.

And secondly, you mentioned a little bit, but again, briefly, how do you see it show up in first responders, specifically issues that need to be addressed through mental health support, peer or otherwise?
