Douglas, do we have to become skeptical at a higher level than we have before? You've had to deal with it throughout your career, but does skepticism really have to become a part of our
10:50
everyday life? Yeah, I think it's now because what I see is that AI makes cameras look good.
10:57
right before we all seen that email with bad english from a nigerian prince claiming that they have money and they would like to get in contact with you so you can have their bank account and they transfer the money and then you give the bank account and they wipe all your money it doesn't happen that way anymore right so right now anyone can set up a fake company can set up a very convincing email can do reconnaissance on you to understand what services you use what car brand of car you drive everything about you is most likely exposed online and they capitalize on that so skepticism is what's gonna define if you're going to be falling victim to a scam in this new age, or you're going to just, you know, not not being specifically targeted, because they they're trying to get to you and they they're failing, failing, failing.
11:48
So they just move

13 MINS LATER

24:55
And it's these kinds of threats that are making their way into people's day-to-day lives, but into the corporate life, that we haven't had to deal with quite so fast, right? A year ago, we would not have been having this conversation in the same way, right? Yeah.
25:13
I think that the agentic revolution, a lot of companies, they're now going to agentic transformation, meaning that they're taking initial processes and workflows and trying to automate that with agentic AI.
25:27
But one thing that they failed to understand is that that agent, obviously, once you start using superintelligence inside your organization that can act on its own, it can be hijacked.
25:38
This is exactly what you're talking about, indirect prompt injection.
