13:00
Doug, how are we starting out this week?
13:04
So we're getting a little dead cat bounce on the market, the stock market, but it was a bad Friday and a bad week.
13:11
So we got a little bit of recovery to make up.
13:15
The NASDAQ's up about seven-tenths of a percent.
13:18
The Dow's up a percent.
13:20
The S&P's up six-tenths of a percent.
13:23
So they're not getting everything back just yet.
16:27
Things can be looking up, but they're not looking up all that much.
13:47
TGIF going on here.
13:50
Yeah, we don't want to repeat this one here, but it's a red day pretty much across the board.
13:55
The only place to hide, fixed income.
13:58
The 10-year is at 494 right now, so interest rates have come down a little bit, meaning the price of the bonds has come up a little bit.
14:05
But right across the board, Intel had their earnings.
14:09
They were a disaster.
14:10
They're $65.
17:06
We have a lot of earnings that are coming out
15:10
I might have been a little bit late to it, but earlier this morning on the Art Lewis Show, I was talking about China's whole AI tech bubble going on.
15:21
Yeah, it's been going on for a while.
15:22
It's been going on for a while.
15:24
It really
15:28
We're not in a similar hole, are we? Not
15:32
yet.
15:33
But, well, I don't know.
15:35
Google had their earnings.
12:20
What does that mean?
12:23
Well, we're waiting for a Fed meeting at 2 o'clock today.
12:26
Should be a non-event, but then again, when has that ever happened before? So, yeah, we'll just have to see.
12:34
Anyway, the 10-year is about 502 right now, so it's creeping up just a little bit on the interest rate.
12:43
We'll see what happens there.
12:44
The NASDAQ is flat today.
12:46
It's down one hundredth of a percent.
14:53
So that should put us
12:25
So elections around here and the elections overseas, and, wow, the markets are just going all over the place.
12:34
Yeah, to be fair, on the real, which is the Brazilian currency, it was 19 to 20 cents roughly.
12:40
You know, man, it kind of jumped up to the high end, 20 cents roughly.
12:47
right before this election, and then it fell to 18.5%.
12:51
So that's kind of the range that that has been trading in.
12:58
Like I said, I'm the low side now from the high side a month ago.
13:03
That's your volatility.
15:57
Doug, we'll talk to you tomorrow, all right? Yeah.
14:05
had a good weekend.
14:08
Yeah, I slept right through it.
14:12
Well
14:13
spent.
14:16
What's going on? Yeah.
14:18
Well, Brazil is all the headlines.
14:20
They reelected a socialist, another term.
14:24
And I don't know, that just kind of crashed our markets big time.
13:14
They don't have a sea to float in these days, do they?
13:18
Yeah, not really.
13:20
No, that ship has sailed or sunk.
13:23
One or the other.
13:25
I don't know.
13:27
Yeah, pretty wild day today.
13:29
Again, consumer sentiment came in at 48.
13:32
That was better than expected, but then statements probably haven't gone out yet, so that might change in a couple weeks.
16:29
Yeah, it's
16:33
been a pretty rough day today.
16:39
Yeah, a lot of fear right now.
16:42
Bitcoin's down about $3,000 at $81,444.
16:47
But it's not helping gold out down $80.
16:49
So, you know, you're seeing bonds rally for the first time in I don't know how long.
16:57
So that's happening, a flight to fixed income.
20:07
Boy, we're beating some people up today.
12:55
There's like at least one piece of good news every time.
12:59
I'll give it
12:59
to you right here.
13:00
Stock market's okay.
13:02
Well, that's okay.
13:04
Bitcoin's okay.
13:05
So there it is in a nutshell.
13:07
All right.
6:51
Doug, how are we doing today?
6:54
Oil's down.
6:56
Hey.
6:56
That's a good thing.
6:57
That's a good start.
6:58
There's a silver lining for us.
6:59
That's all I got.
7:03
Bye.
13:53
oh couldn't be better much now that we're both done lying
14:02
well so the stock market's trying a little bit getting back a little bit of what they lost last week i don't know if it's a Sustainable, really, but NASDAQ's up 1.75%.
14:15
S&P's up about 9 tenths of a percent.
14:17
The Dow is about 2 tenths of a percent.
14:20
Gold has given up a little bit.
14:22
Bitcoin's up about 900 at 81.972. That's kind of that for Monday.
14:32
Here's your numbers.
16:04
We got a week to work on it.
