Well, obviously you had rice production that was ramping up during this time and, and, uh, cotton production.

And this would be prior to, you know, the... or during the advent or whatever you wanna refer it to of the development of the commercial fertilizer industry.

And so crops were depleting soils of, of nutrients and, and there needed to be some way to help build those nutrients back.

And so I guess they just looked at various crops that, you know, may be in a situation that had a high adaptability, you know, on various soil types and whatnot, which there are in Arkansas.
