Would you be able to tell us kind of what this is? What does it do? What does it look to solve? Um, and why did NatureScot decide to build it?
3:12
Yeah.
3:13
No, and I should have said that in my little introduction.
3:14
[chuckles] I do manage the, the project, um, the natural capital tool project as well as part of, um, my team at NatureScot.
3:21
But essentially, the natural capital tool at its core is all about, and I very cheesily say this, I always call it making the invisible visible [chuckles] when it comes to nature.
3:31
So it's essentially a means to help people take what we call the natural capital approach to their decision-making, but it's really just looking at nature, looking at all the habitats that we have, looking at the benefits and the broad range of different benefits that nature provides, and then making decisions based on those.
3:48
Um, and the reason that, you know, we've wanted to develop this tool, um, we're funded through our Farming with Nature program, um, which is all about, you know, testing new approaches to, like, decision-making and around natural capital.

Is that right? Um, can you talk us a bit through kind of what this means? Why was it designed this way, and, and what's the benefit of doing it in this manner?
