Was it fun?
30:22
It was, I suppose.
30:23
It was a great experience, I suppose.
30:25
Fun? Of course, I'd be kind of having to crack all the time, so I enjoyed it.
30:31
A lot of people, I'd say they...
30:33
they probably took it maybe very serious and like it's just a game and I suppose as people found out if you're good at the game you're gone and if you're saying nothing you could be gone so you have to kind of be in the middle so that's why I was happy enough with my time in there that My small bit of a fib kind of got me longer than I thought, to be honest, than the wife Jackie thought as well.
31:08
So why didn't you just tell them the truth
31:09
from the start? Yeah, I just had a kind of a sense going in that, okay, sales people were great at our job, were well able to talk, So I was probably thinking then, if there was a few country heads inside there, they might have thought, okay, this man's a salesman.

Was it fun?
0:31
It was, I suppose.
0:31
It was a great experience, I suppose.
0:34
Fun.
0:34
Of course, I'd be kind of having to crack all the time.
0:38
So I enjoyed it.
0:39
A lot of people, I'd say, they probably took it maybe very serious.
1:16
just tell them the truth from the start?
10:02
it Who did she beat in the county that year?
10:06
so the county final was Clidove with a savage game against Clidove Shane Reardon he's over in Australia now we're in America I'd say that man is travelling but he had a serious game that day I can remember he was he was unreal centre forward for us he played cornerback for the hollow for a good few years but that was above in Clidove Jimmy Barry Murphy was actually the great Jimmy Barry was actually training in Clidove at the time and I suppose they actually beat us the year before then and Donny Roach was training us and we beat the band Hero and Kilbryn in a great game we were looking to get out that day as well and I suppose then we didn't win the Dú Chola for a good few years before that and I'd say fellas let the hair down too much we were drinking probably for a week but the following year then against Kilbryn which we were jeez that was scary we just got over the line again and we weren't drinking for a week that day with Liam because Liam had big ideas which coming from his Newtown Shandrum days with Bernie O'Connor, like, we weren't going to leave another chance slip then and, again, play Diarmuid O'Mahunas and then we had Mayfield in the semi-final and then Clidov in the final again.
11:17
So, we were in a good position then, to be fair.
11:19
And Daniel Ireland, was that kind of the last culmination for that group? Did you kind of go separate ways after or what way did
11:26
you end? Yeah, I suppose we...
11:29
Ronan Dwayne came in then we were very lucky against his own club I had our sorry Father O'Neill's sorry his Father O'Neill's I remember Dickey Dalton got a free 32 yards out down and killed Dalry if you gave me a mark or no and pinpointed where he took the free down do you know the way you remember these things we were up two points at the time then against a super Father O'Neill's team Billy Dunn these fellas and literally probably deserved to win the game.
11:56
Decade on, got a free 35 yards out.
11:58
Absolute bullet to the back of the net.
31:11
no,
31:12
jeez.
31:12
I won't remember.
31:14
Who did she beat in the county that year? So the county final was Clidove with a savage game against Clidove.
31:21
Shane Reardon, he's over in Australia now or America, I'd say that man is travelling, but he had a serious game that day.
31:27
I can remember he was unreal centre forward for us.
31:31
He played cornerback for the Hollow for a good few years, but that was above in Clidove.
32:31
And that Ireland, was that kind of the last hurrah or culmination for that group? Did you kind of go separate ways after or what way did you end?
TadhgHOST
5:40
Day one, when you were sitting at the round table blindfolded and they picked their traitor, did you suspect anyone straight away?
5:49
To be honest, I didn't, Ty, because, like, it's...
5:52
It's hard to know.
5:53
Yeah, it's hard to know, like, from day one, like, when that happens, like, you should be on edge, you should be looking around.
6:02
But, like, I was just in awe of the whole thing.
6:03
I was like, how am I here, Ty? I took that every day, then, like, I was coming out of the castle there at night, Ty, and I was looking back, like, looking up at Slane Castle, like, Your man, that singer there, I don't know, Zach Brain played there to I don't know how many thousand people there were.
6:20
And I was looking back and I was like, how am I here? And I was living the dream, which the dream nearly was died fairly quickly when I nearly got voted out the next night.

11 MINS LATER

TadhgHOST
17:03
he was in my list of like the strongest players because I was like Sean's he's sharp as a pin like Dennis as
0:34
He got 1-1 as well, so that settled you down.
0:36
Yeah, and I suppose we were, I'd say a few of our lads were still inside in the dressing room when they banged into 1-1.
0:43
But look, the good thing about this team is they've a lot done there.
0:46
Daniel Buckley, Kevin Crimmond through the middle there, settled things down.
0:50
And of course, when you've David, Gerry Allen above in the full forward line, look, it's a big threat we have.
0:56
But look, fellas need to step up the next day because the next day is going to be a different kettle of fish come Championship.
1:32
Well, from
1:32
all over, really.
