Um, uh, could you share with us how is this district operating, and what enabled distri- this district, the Kendall Square, basically, to be successful?

Ditte Lysgaard VindGUEST
I mean, I think there you have this perfect mix of, you know, the sort of legacy of the Boston area, but then also you have MIT as an absolutely fantastic example of an institution that is, you know, extremely central on knowledge but also very focused towards having that knowledge applied.

Ditte Lysgaard VindGUEST
So in that sense, it's just a, it's, it's, it's, it's-It's a, it's a quite unique example.

Ditte Lysgaard VindGUEST
You, you, you know, you, you go two kilometers down, you have Harvard, which is also a fantastic knowledge institution, but you don't have the same application of that knowledge happening as continuously as, as, and easily as you do with MIT.

Ditte Lysgaard VindGUEST
So there's this, uh, fantastic concentration of both MIT, but then you have all of the institutes around that, that play that role of bridge builder between the university on the one side and then the industry on, on the other side.

Ditte Lysgaard VindGUEST
And then around that, you have the Kendall Square Association, which is its own entity that has, for its purpose, to have that collaboration happening, and I think that's a, that's a crucial part to really create those physical but also legal structures that allows for someone to really carry the responsibility long-term for collaboration to happen and ensure that it continuously evolves.
