So we are three months away from elections that could happen.

What are your expectations that these elections might actually happen? There are two main challenges for elections to happen in December.

The first one is that the gangs are in control in the capital and the two other more densely populated departments in the country.

So even if the exact estimation of how much territory they control in the capital is a subject of debate, they control between 80 and 90 percent of the capital.

The capital hosts around a third of Haiti's total population, which is around 12 million Haitians.
