W- when you first heard about that, given this was your line of work, what were some of those initial things coming up for you?

Well, it was bound to happen is what I t- I wasn't surprised.

Uh, there was a lot of minutiae reporting about how much of the drug got in her system, and I was very skeptical that it got into a vein or anything like that somehow, using the wrong needle, hitting a calcified vein or something like that.

Something really wrong happened that should've been detected at the time, uh, but not an expert on how to perform lethal injection.

But clearly there's no immediate what do you do if plan.

And, uh, uh, I'm glad that they stopped and resuscitated her.

I figured she would be permanently disabled if not completely incapacitated mentally and physically after that.

What do you mean by that?
