Diane?

hi joe might have to help me out with names because my brain is a little bit mush at the moment so the safe house which is the one i'm directing so i do know remember that name um and peggy is the writer um and it's basically as it says it's a safe house for women who have obviously coming away from bad situations um within the play it's It was written in little scenes.
8:53
So each scene is a different time within the safe house and not necessarily the same characters because obviously lots of different women pass through these safe houses.
9:04
So it's sort of highlighting some of the stories that come in and some of the problems and issues that they might have um but there's also a positive side so one of the scenes is them making posters and banners um for march and that sort of thing so it shows that side as well and they it was written as well with normally like normally scripts it says this character says this this character says it doesn't it's just lines So you can give those lines to whoever.
9:31
So you could do an ensemble piece or you could give people particular lines.
9:35
So it'll be nice to see how it's done.
9:37
And the other one is Mates.

5 MINS LATER

And so what was the point of this event? Now, from the writers' perspectives, is it just for them to have their play produced on stage? Or, I mean, are you sort of on an ongoing basis kind of giving them feedback? And I guess you probably can't answer this on behalf of each individual writer, but do you know if some of them are planning to perhaps turn it into a full-length play and get it produced a bit further beyond this?
