Can we talk about that?
10:11
Yes.
10:12
Stick shift just brought me back to when I learned how to drive, just showed my age there.
10:18
We have an exercise I just called the stick figure where in the middle of just paper and pen going very old school on this, just draw a stick figure.

And on either side of it, you want to put down your skills, your quality traits, the things that you really like about yourself.
10:35
And it could be anything personally or professionally from, you know, have empathy, compassion, kindness, loyalty, interpersonal skills, whatever it is, just put that down.
10:47
On the other side, put down all your accomplishments and that could go all the way back to literally getting your driver's license, graduating from high school, graduating from college to where you are today.
12:37
You know, I love that you're teaching us to control the controllable, but if someone really doesn't like where they are in their life at that moment, how do we acknowledge that and still... do the blooming part?
13:47
So how can we start to change those patterns to create real change of maybe a less cluttered environment and, of course, a less cluttered mind?
13:57
Well, first, you said this before.
13:59
We never want to strive for perfection.
14:02
And perfectionism is a sign of low self-worth.
14:04
We feel like if we can't do it perfectly, then why do it at all? We don't want people to see that we make mistakes or that we might have a setback.
14:11
When the truth is, if you're human, you're going to have mistakes, setbacks, and failures.
14:16
So we don't want to strive for perfection.
17:36
What's your advice for handling that? Because I imagine that happens to a lot of people a lot of times.
