The word that comes to my mind is community, and it's something that I didn't fully recognize and appreciate until I actually left Derby and left home.

Even being at Oklahoma State, but especially afterwards being in Houston and Los Angeles, and going to Stanford, and being in the Fortune 100 boardrooms, I realized how much community meant to me, and how much love and support I got from Derby and just the general community.
