I accidentally tripped into banking back in 1996 through the guidance of my loving father, who said you need to get a job or get out.

So he said my bank is currently hiring part-time tellers, so I signed up and became a part-time teller and quickly through my career early on fell in love with banking and realized that was my purpose and I was able to very early on in my career help people in their financial endeavor so everything from opening simple accounts to getting their Tupperware set all the way to doing mortgages at that time and I just worked my way up through the ranks into leadership branch management regional management of different branches as well And then into that business development role, which I loved.

And through that, a lot of the volunteer things that I did in the community, worked with a lot of men and women coming out of the prison system, helping them with their credit repair, budgeting, you name it, was a wonderful thing.
