Can you talk a little bit about, as you approach America 250, having the roles that you've had at Heritage, how have you seen the Heritage Foundation contribute to this nation over the last couple of decades?

Yeah, and it's hard to answer just the last couple of decades because you look at the whole, the totality of it last 53 years.

I think we've been right a good clip 80 to 90% of the time, but we've had a mixed record of success.

And part of that is the American people are ultimately in charge and they've kind of sent some inconsistent messages over that time, particularly I'm thinking of the president's with President Obama and President Trump and Biden and certainly Reagan before that.

So we've had some conservative presidents and some more left-leaning presidents.

So they've been inconsistent in that, but consistent in another way.

Basically since 2008, every two to four years, the American people basically say, we don't like any of you people.

Are you optimistic about the future of America? Yeah.
