And just to bring you in here, Dermot, um, what is the council's role in this, and how does it help the council achieve its priorities?
2:03
Okay.
2:03
Well, the, the council have worked very closely with the Department for Infrastructure in bringing forward the Eastern Transport Plan.
2:11
Um, there's a, a, a recognition that as we bring forward our own local development plan for the city, that the two have to, uh, talk to each other and have to have a, a close alignment for, for both to work, uh, successfully.
2:25
The local development plan is, is primarily tasked with, uh, achieving a whole suite of ambitions around population growth, around economic growth, and around societal benefits to deal with a lot of the challenges that the city has, has faced over the last number of decades.
2:41
And I think in, in part of that, uh, as we seek to grow the population of the city to i- increase the, the size and, uh, variety of, um, housing, u- and employment options that, that are, that are there, that, um, it, it properly aligns with how people can, can, can get about or indeed reduce the need to travel, uh, in the first instance by, by making them live close to services a- a- and where they want to work.

Um, and that in turn will encourage more people to want to be in the city center.
15:33
Yeah, it, it, it's, it always strikes me, a, a term I heard once is that there, some vehicles have no business being in the city center.
