I think it'll come good.

I really do.

Maybe I'm a glass half full type person, but it's certainly been a... not as good as last season fair to say but we started well you know you look at the European games I almost felt like the transition was too good don't get me wrong we've been hit with a few injuries I think when you look at the Freiburg games you'll have seen that they're sitting top of the Bundesliga and we competed with them over 90 minutes in two games when they had 11 men as soon as we got a red card that's when it changed but I think when Paul McGinn comes back, you know, when Priestman comes back in the middle of the pitch, I think we'll be alright.

But yes, I heard someone on one of the forums say that it's like following Elvis on stage, you know, coming in after Askew.

Oh, I know.

And I think that's a fair description, but you need to remember it's like following Elvis on stage without his backing band.

Are you, you expecting that, him to do that here at Motherwell?

I, I think so, yeah.

I mean, you, you look at Motherwell over the years, and I think Motherwell are one of those clubs that I'm very proud to say that other fans look at and think, you know, they've got a pathway into their first team.

You don't see that at a lot of clubs across the country at the moment.

And you look at some of the players in, in recent years in, in Further Afield, like, you know, your, your Lennon Millers, your David Turnbulls, uh, even going further back, you know, your, your James McFadden's have, have really made a, an impact in Scottish football and in national football as well.

And I, I think we need to be looking for the next Lennon Millers, the next James McFadden's to come through at Motherwell, not just to bolster, you know, the attendances that John touched on or, or to put more money in, in our coffers when we sell them on, but to really enhance Scottish football as a whole.

It's, it's good for the club then that they're attracting interest and potentially gonna be sold on for a big fee.
