I think he was – this is just me guessing, Jamie, but I'm going to assume, one, he was in quite a bit of pain because, man, Winnipeg was unable to contain that Saskatchewan pressure.

I don't think the CFL counts as an explosive play, but it truly is right.

They didn't always catch it.

Actually Most of the times they did in fact drop it, but, I mean, that was, that was, you know, 10, 10 balls that should've been intercepted in a two-game span.

You go, "Okay, we-- you can never win like that," right? So, uh, to me, it's just that other teams are better, and the Bombers aren't getting the benefit of a lot of turnovers in their favor or just a lot of bounces in their favor, right? If, to me, if they're neutral on bounces, there's a lot of teams they're not going to beat.

If they're neutral on bounces tonight, they're not gonna beat the Edmonton Elks 'cause I, I just think they're, they're more favorable.

They're -- like Edmonton's a better team and more talented, uh, kind of across the board.

What are the early returns thus far with his play calling and handle of the offense?

Do you think Brady and this Bombers offense kind of fired up to take on this Elks defense, who for the most part has been very good this season?

Well, I guarantee you they'll be protecting the heck out of the football because Edmonton takes it away at this incredible rate so far this season, right? And I think, I think the Bombers have to be.

Like I know California's a, got a sustainability focus and stuff like that, so it's like-

Yeah, there's a lot of heart in that, and it just enables you to do more, uh, with the bottle.

You know, you can do Coachella, like, you know, 20,000 people a day, or you can go to like a beautiful, like, business center, or maybe your friend has a restaurant that doesn't have the money to buy, you know, the gear that you just talked about, a grinder, water machine, you know, espresso machine.

Like may- maybe they wanna have a, just a simple flat white or iced latte or for Americano, they can just drop a shot in and hot water over the top, you got a beautiful Americano.

Mm.

Uh, it's great for this brand to open up more spaces, uh, but it's helpful for a lot of different coffee providers.

Like, it, it's a fun, um, product to play around with.

So like all roasters should have it, uh, a ver- or version of it if, if they need, you know.

Um, Jamie, you and I have talked football for a long time.

I am big on the "let's go for two" and "let's go for it on third down," and Mike O'Shea is just the absolute opposite.

And in this game, it, it bit them in the butt in a big-time way.

Uh, they drive down the field, opening drive of the game.

Third and two from the, whatever it was, the four or the five.

We're doing okay." Should it have been, "Oh, we're 4-2, but oh, there's, there's trouble here"?

So I guess, do you believe that he has earned the trust at this point of his career so fresh of the Bombers if he needs to get into games?

Yeah, the trust, there'd be levels to it, right? There was certainly the trust to, hey, you're our guy, get in there and fill in for Zach while he's injured in this game in Hamilton.

And then there's the trust of they didn't let him rip the ball down the field, right? If you want to go down a rabbit hole, you can watch on YouTube what Taylor did in that 2024 preseason for the Green Bay Packers.

And he got into a lot of action in a game against the Detroit lions.

And when I watched that, I thought, look at this guy, rip the ball in the intermediate range into very tight windows.

Like he was not afraid to be hammering the ball across the middle.

You go, this, this really gives me a ton of confidence as he, this is approaching camp as he approaches campus, gives me a ton of confidence.

With the most recent game the Bombers played against Hamilton, a low-scoring affair, but the couple of games at home for the Bombers so far this season, a couple of losses to Hamilton and Edmonton, what are the specific things you're going to be looking for the team to tighten up against Toronto come Friday?

Yeah, uh, it, it's gotta be stop the run, but I say that knowing that they would have tried to stop the run against Calgary and Dedrick Mills in week one, and he hit them for 100 yards.

And, you know, you would have paid attention to the run la- the last game against Hamilton, and Larry Roundtree banged them for over 100 yards.

So I, I think as I look around, you know, when you look at the stats from the Elks so far, you go, "Okay, nothing stands out other than Rankin, right?" He's the leading rusher.

He's the leading receiver.

The, Austin Mack, sure, two touchdowns, but what is he, 74 yards? Uh, Luther, okay, those numbers are, are pretty respectable for his first couple of games, but there's not a ton of other threats at this moment.

So I, I think you have to go in thinking, "Okay, we're, we can't allow any holes.

And I really wonder how much of an advantage that is for them early in the year.

yeah tell me a bit about tommy kandel calling the plays there i'm very curious about what you've seen so far and uh just in terms of his his tendencies and that sort of thing is he is he maybe more pass heavy than we've seen in the past or what have you noticed

Well, this was a bone of contention ahead of week number one.

As I went back and I looked, I took every offensive coordinator from, I think it was 2021 through last season, it was 2019 through last season, and said, okay, how much do they run the ball on early downs? Because Condell's reputation is that he loves to throw the ball and not so much run the ball, which would be in conflict with having a back like Brady Oliveira.

So I looked at these numbers and you go, okay, well, on first downs in the last six seasons, He runs the ball less than any other offensive coordinator in the CFL in that time.

Oh, how's that going to work with Brady Oliveira? And then the first game, there were some Brady runs, but ultimately he ran the ball at the same rate he did in his entire career so far.

No one seemed to worry about it too much because Brady went for over 100 yards and they won the football game.

So it's super interesting.

But overall, what do you think of the green and gold and how they've performed?

So can you walk us through how these transitions affect billing and reimbursement?

Yeah, yeah.

So patients, yeah, oftentimes they're getting better or they're getting worse.

So they're coming in and out of the nursing homes or the assisted livings.

So one of the complicated things in our field is the admitting of a patient, what we would call admissions.

So when a patient comes to a facility, there's a lot of components of information that we need to set up and have in place in order to dispense.

So we have our typical patient information, our billing, our third-party plans and payment information, guarantor information.

So as LTC pharmacies look to improve performance, what we've really been talking about here, where have you seen the biggest opportunities to create more consistency, perhaps reduce billing friction and also support better financial outcomes?
