I mean, he's just a good fighter, but loose Conor, that's, that's a different Conor altogether.

Derek FoxGUEST
The diff- like, the difference with loose Conor is, uh, you know, when he's loose, he can get out of the way of that shot to the face.

Derek FoxGUEST
You see the, you see the fist miss his face by centimeters, and he's loose enough that he follows back in and knocks you out, like, in the same, in the same exchange.

Derek FoxGUEST
Like- Whereas now he's not lo- where the last few fights he was just not loose enough, and he was getting tagged, and it was fucking him up.

Derek FoxGUEST
And I think that's what happened with, with O'Malley in his losses is, like, the wins were happening.

Derek FoxGUEST
He was undefeated, but technically not, and I know that, like, bugged him, and it kind of bugged me too 'cause it's like that one- that first loss, like, shouldn't have been.

Stand them up." Yeah, but when you know what's happening, when you know how terrifying it is to be in a few of those positions, you, it, it's, it's like watching a whole new thing.

And so how would you go about doing that? If those were your dogs, what would you do?

Derek FoxGUEST
So one of the foundational training pieces that we include in our program is neutrality training.

Derek FoxGUEST
And so we teach a dog to go to a raised bed, a Karanda bed they're called, and they hang out on those beds for extended period of time.

Derek FoxGUEST
with nothing no no behavior that's expected other than hanging out on the bed and then they're made to just watch the world go by and so with two dogs that are aggressive with one another we would have them tethered to those beds after we've had a little bit of a learning curve around the place beds they're tethered to the beds and they have to hang out in the same room whilst just eating and digesting those emotions we spend time doing approximating the dogs.

Derek FoxGUEST
So distance, using distance as an ally and also duration, right? So we would have those dogs in the room together and try to change their emotional output to one another.
