But just, uh, first off, just how-- what was that like, uh, being, uh, in, in that process and then did you ever imagine in the lead up to a college basketball season you'd have to sit in a courtroom to, to make sure one of your guys can be eligible this year?
25:28
Well, let me just say this.
25:30
Um, you know, for me, um, you know, being there for my players is very important.
25:36
It's, it's the bo- the relationship part and piece of it that speaks volumes.
25:42
So whether it's in a courtroom, their wedding, um, you know, in, in the lobby of the hospital, um, if they have a newborn, I'm always gonna be there, man.
25:56
It's not just about wins and losses, uh, between the lines, but it's about life.
26:02
And when you can share life experiences with guys and be there by their side, that's the most important thing.

31:28
A- a- and so what, just how important is that to you, the notion of the success you've had at Missouri, but also wanting to take that next step and play not only deeper into the month of March, but the month that follows it as well?

Um, you know, for me, um, you know, being there for my players is very important.

It's, it's the b- the relationship part and piece of it that speaks volumes.

Just how important is that to you, the notion of the success you've had at Missouri, but also wanting to take that next step and play not only deeper into the month of March, but the month that follows it as well?
4:56
Mm-hmm
4:56
... an opportunity to kinda help guide Jayson Crow Jr. through the ups and downs of the season by being one of our top players as well.
5:05
Uh, you look at Bryson Tiller, we know that, uh, the opportunity at Kansas that he had, great player.
5:12
To have him here at Missouri is a great, great addition to our program.
5:16
I'm looking forward to him to have an impact, no different than Kobe Brown or Mark Mitchell.
5:21
Uh, Jalen Carey, who has a sleuth of experience-

5 MINS LATER

10:52
Mm.
10:53
Which is a shame.
8:42
Dennis, what are your impressions of the roster you've put together for 26-27?
8:48
I'm excited about our roster.
8:49
Obviously, when you look at our high school portal class, everyone talks, obviously, about Jason Crow Jr. I'm very excited about Jason Crow Jr. and what he brings to the table.
9:01
I'm equally excited about Tony Bryant, two McDonald's All-Americans, Missouri basketball program.
9:08
We've only had five in the history of the school.
9:11
To have two in one class, that's a very, very, very important accomplishment as we look forward to continuing to build our program.
9:20
But also when you look at in that class is Aiden Chronister, who I believe will have a great college career.

7 MINS LATER

16:48
What made you decide to not just play St. Louis in downtown St. Louis, but to play St. Louis in downtown St. Louis for multiple seasons?
30:54
Talk a little about how you've seen him mature through the summer and how he's kind of meshed in with a bunch of new guys and also some returning guys.
31:02
Well, the freshman jump is something that you've got to identify in a couple individuals.
31:07
Trent Pierce is another kid that made a freshman, a sophomore jump, and then Ant Robinson, obviously, who we're speaking of.
31:15
From a matrix standpoint, analytics, he has jumped tremendously in every category, and he's definitely been a starter for us, averaging close to 10 points, three rebounds, three assists.
31:26
But what you look at is how he's – approach the game the game has slowed down a lot for him and defensively he has done a tremendous job with his analytics alone being able to average the amount of steals that he averaged he averages close to two steals a game but now you add that to the amount of pressure and how he pushes his three-point percentage has jumped 20 plus points percentage points his free throw attempts has doubled His rebounding has almost doubled.
31:57
His assist has tripled.
32:00
And you just look at a young man right before our eyes just growing into a role where he's going to be all-conference player, hopefully junior and senior year.
34:16
They had Travis Diener and Steve Novak and – Coach, I just want everybody to know in Mizzou that it all started at Marquette.
35:44
The OIA documents that you have show what exactly?
35:51
Well, they show a pattern and a knowledge within the government agencies of a history and an entrenched culture of sexual abuse, mental abuse, health abuse, that children are abused by not being properly educated.
36:10
The whole thing is rife with abuse.
36:12
They report that to the ministers, and this has been done over decades.
36:17
Nothing happens.
36:19
All the politicians do is posture and puff, say they're going to do various things, and at the end of the day, they do nothing.
36:34
What do you shut down? Like the school I can understand the ministry having an involvement in, but how do you actually shut down a community of people?
36:43
Well, a lot of parallels are drawn with domestic violence.
