Payroll in Ireland

L
10:33Tell me a bit about the impact this has had for payroll teams and how the system works in practice.

Deirdre EdwardsGUEST
Historically, we would have had to complete forms to declare the year-end taxation for all of our clients, which was an incredibly time-consuming and could be quite a manual process.

Deirdre EdwardsGUEST
So each time a payroll is processed, the system automatically declares the figures to revenue directly.

Deirdre EdwardsGUEST
The further impact of that is not only the year-end filing being automated, but the general payroll forms that we would have seen in the past, like P45, P60s at year-end, all of those P forms no longer exist.
