Ep 362: The Power of Community: Celebrating Connection Across Canada
24:09
24:16
24:22
24:47

Dee MurphyGUEST
We were able to help several kids this year in the Kids Help Kids campaign, and they shared their stories with us.

Dee MurphyGUEST
They shared so much about what it's like to be a kid in elementary school being diagnosed with celiac disease.

Dee MurphyGUEST
And then having Celiac Canada share cookies with us, they were able to take cookies to their classrooms and show kids that, you know, it is possible to have a kind of normal life so to speak, eat the same foods, those types of things, and make those kids not feel so isolated either in their classrooms.

Dee MurphyGUEST
I feel like a lot of children have trouble at school when everybody else is eating all of these different foods or a family brings in a cake to celebrate a kid's birthday.
