Deb, what did connecting with other parents give you that, you know, the medical team wasn't providing? Like, what did you get from those connections?

Well, it's kind of funny because at my appointment with Dr. Mehta, I had spoken to the nurse and the social worker and I said, well, do you think there's another kid that we could connect Molly with? Right.

Because I didn't think I needed anything.

I'm a clinician.

But I was wrong.

I needed the parent side of this, you know.

So I called a mom who's local.

What do you hope happens to people, to kids like that in the future? What should happen? How can we get those patients into rheumatology and get it recognized and treated better? How do you see that happening?
