What are some warning signs that folks should watch out for?

Well, I think the good news about warning signs is that we already have the tools in our box, right? You're going to look for the same type of warning signs you would whenever any type youth or individual may be in distress, where we may be suspecting any type of domestic violence, mental health issues, or addiction.

So these are things we have talked about for three decades now, right? So really using those same warning signs initially, so isolation, loss of control, any type of separation from what is a healthy social environment into unhealthy social environment, self-harming behavior, self-destructive behavior.

for sake of time right those are things those are the foundation of what you want to look for then you build from that point right because now you're going to start trying to determine is this an addiction issue is this a mental health crisis is this you know some sort of domestic violence or human trafficking or some other issue that is occurring within this individual's life.

Specifically for human trafficking, once you've ascertained that one of those things, something's going wrong, something is changing in this person's life, you're gonna wanna look for maybe a shift in location.

Very, very important.

Now SB 1414, another law that was recently passed by the California legislature by Senator Shannon Grove, I'd love for you to talk a little bit about that piece of legislation as well, but are there other pieces of legislation that you'd like to see come out of Sacramento that maybe have not been passed or not been introduced in the legislature?
