Um, do you wanna talk a little bit about that?

Yeah.

So the...

I love this, uh, magazine.

I, I kinda consider it, um, a literary magazine with a focus on the lower part of the Midwest.

Um, and they, uh, they've been around 10 years, so I was, uh, kind of a treat to be one of the authors who got to contribute to the 10th anniversary issue.

I wrote a, a fairly lengthy article reflecting on my relationship with, uh, with our father, uh, after he passed away in 2022.

Mm-hmm.

Now, the river flows, uh, a little more than 200 miles through Wisconsin, and in your book, you say you'll get some natural wonders there without the crowds.

Yeah.

So there are a couple of places that are, I think are really special.

There's, uh, a natural widening in the Mississippi called Lake Pepin, just south of the Twin Cities.

Small towns, artist communities line that, uh, that lake, and half of that is in Wisconsin.

That's a great place to tour.

Near the town of Stockholm, Wisconsin, there's a, a place called Maiden Rock Bluff.Uh, which provides a really dramatic view of the Mississippi from the top, and it's a pretty easy 10 or 15-minute walk from a parking lot.
